An exciting opportunity awaits you as a mechanical designer at our partner Airbus in Donauwörth.
Your tasks
The job holder works as a mechanical designer for the integration of basic and optional systems and takes on the following tasks:- Create detailed definitions for the mechanical integration of devices within the framework of helicopter adaptation configuration, considering conditions such as environment, function, and interfaces.
- Design device space arrangements.
- Define installation breakdown.
- Create detailed drawings and parts lists.
- Provide technical support for production.
- Create mechanical installation investigations in CATIA V5 for basic and optional components.
- Create construction documents (installation and individual part drawings) in CATIA V5, SAP, Windchill.
- Close coordination with FAL, production, workflow planning, model construction, statics, and other internal customers, as well as suppliers.
- Interface with program, Chief Engineering, and Support & Service.
Your Profile
- Completed vocational training as a mechanic
- At least 3 years of professional experience in engineering, aerospace, and mechanics
- Good knowledge of MS Office, SAP, Catia V5, and vpm
- Familiarity with Windchill and competent handling of it
- Fluency in German and English
- Good understanding of design interpretation regarding vibration and aerodynamic behavior
- Experience with aviation standards and certifications (SCE role)
- Experience in processing certification procedures
- High commitment, teamwork skills, and customer-oriented work approach
- Structured and independent handling of assigned tasks
- Open to new and creative solutions
- Effective communication with internal and external customers and suppliers
