Your tasks

• Creating and evaluating macro-/microslides of metals, ceramics, plastics, composites
• Sample assessment, creating short reports
• Corrosion investigations (layer corrosion, intergranular corrosion)
• Participation in damage investigations
• Organization of the metallography laboratory

Your Profile

• Completed vocational training as a metallographer or materials tester with a focus on metallography
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a metallographer with alloys of aluminum + titanium required
• Knowledge of materials science for metals (welding, forging, etc.)
• Good MS Office skills
• Language skills in German (negotiation level) and English (advanced)
• Sense of responsibility and a careful and independent working style
• Determination and ability to work in a team
• Organizational skills
