Testing Engineer - Avionics Software Integration Test

Your tasks

  • Responsible for the analysis of existing processes and tools and their improvement towards an integrated and standardized Airbus development environment
  • Verification of correct and complete implementation of customer requirements in the Eurofighter avionics
  • Responsible for two of the most important mission computers in the aircraft
  • Early detection of errors to support system and software developers and prepare the software for aviation qualification

Your Profile

  • Completed degree in physics, computer science, or aerospace engineering
  • Initial professional experience in engineering, IT/information systems, and process improvement
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office
  • Experience in the development of embedded, safety-critical systems, ideally considering DO178, V-Model, EASA Part 21J, ZDv 1525A, or ISO26262, is desirable
  • Fluent in English, good knowledge of German
  • Knowledge in the field of aviation/avionics is advantageous
  • Ability to work agile and flexibly in small teams
  • Ability to work independently and precisely and openness to agile software development
  • Ambition in familiarizing oneself with and critically evaluating complex technical issues
