Your tasks

The Quality Manufacturing Engineer, with a focus on First Article Inspection, significantly supports the implementation of stable production processes. The main emphasis is on sustainable quality of the final product. As the FAI Leader, you ensure that the requirements from construction documents and regulations are met and the components are produced in series according to the specifications. The job holder works as a Quality Manufacturing Engineer FAI Leader. The tasks are divided in detail as follows:
  • FAI Leader: Preparation of FAI, contact person during the FAI process, responsible for tracking deviations
  • Creation of FAI inspection plans considering construction document requirements
  • FAI organization: Preparation and moderation of FAI kick-offs with a cross-functional team from engineering, manufacturing engineering, production, and quality
  • Definition of validation methods for FEMI & program releases
  • Review and evaluation of existing FAI reports
  • Definition of measurement methods and measuring tools for the respective FAI activity
  • Interface for FAI questions regarding production, quality assurance, work preparation, and design
  • Reporting of FAI key figures

Your Profile

  • Completed degree in computer science, engineering, or quality management
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in quality management
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP
  • Knowledge of G Suite is desirable
  • Language skills in German (negotiation level) and English (proficient)
  • Preferably experience in First Article Inspection
  • Experience with metallic manufacturing processes is advantageous
  • Knowledge and experience with B-Flow and Norm Master is advantageous
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Solution-oriented approach
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Open and motivated towards new things
