Specialist CAMO Support A400M

Your tasks

As part of the holistic support of the CAMO (Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization) A400M department of the Air Force, tasks in the field of A400M Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul services for the entire German A400M fleet must be independently created on time, on quality & on-cost while complying with all military aviation legal and internal Air Force requirements, and submitted for approval by the Air Force. Processing L-files, which includes data maintenance in the MDS and logbooks (maintenance operations only):

• SB/TA documentation
• Transaction of equipment/components (installation and removal)
• Creation and maintenance of equipment/components
• Maintenance/update of weight & balance data
• Creation and maintenance of engine/APU/role equipment configuration

SB/TA processing:

• Data maintenance in CAMO systems, e.g. MDS
• Implementation of SB/TA on aircraft

• Creation of orders for DEMAR 145 maintenance organizations, including verification, correction, and final processing of the returned documentation, as well as transfer to CAMO systems, e.g. in MDS
• Organizing and monitoring planned maintenance measures, listing and commissioning necessary maintenance measures with all maintenance activities without SB
• Maintenance of maintenance programs
• Maintenance of logbook data, data maintenance & verification of all activities/events (maintenance activities, SB, retrofit, repairs, follow-up orders) in MDS to ensure correct data entry in MDS, initiate or carry out corrective actions if necessary (processing of quality report checklist and A/C logbook)
• Verification and adjustment of the "Weight and Balance Sheet" after maintenance measures

Quality control:

• Checking and controlling that all equipments have been created in accordance with military aviation regulations
• Checking and controlling that the "ageing" of components has been properly maintained (flight hours, calendar days, first use date)
• Monitoring operating hours as well as manufacturer and airworthiness instructions for airworthiness determination

Other tasks:

• Training, instructing, and guiding employees as well as supporting employees in improving work processes
• Creating and completing ground test runs (EGR) and flights

Tasks on behalf of CAMO Lw with air legal relevance:

• Exercising certain drawing rights, such as in the CAMO computer systems, on behalf of the Bundeswehr with air legal relevance
• Conducting projects and defining processes
• Independently conducting projects in the national environment as well as defining processes to ensure a safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of the German A400M fleet; this also includes the performance and coordination of in-service tests according to the operator's demands, as well as the evaluation of test results and, if necessary, the definition of new requirements

Your profile

• Completed degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering or mechanical engineering with a focus on aerospace
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in aerospace and technical documentation
• Good knowledge of airworthiness and quality control is required
• Negotiation skills in German and English
• Ideally, excellent knowledge of Spanish is also available, then fluent German skills could be dispensed with
• Strong team spirit and an open, approachable nature with a high service orientation
• Quick comprehension
• Willingness to travel (2-3 days) once per quarter within Germany
