An exciting assignment as a Library Administrator awaits you at our partner Airbus in Manching.Your Tasks:
The main department "Weapon System Integration Rigs" at Airbus Defence and Space in Manching is responsible for all test facilities for avionics, flight control and hydraulics for the qualification and certification of the respective systems. From concept design to detailed planning, development and qualification of test facilities, to in-service and operation, the department delivers. In addition, special Aircraft Ground Equipments (AGEs) and Rig Support Equipments are developed. The main customer programs are Eurofighter, Tornado, unmanned aircraft (EuroMALE, Zephyr HAPS, City Airbus). The main focus of the work is on maintaining electrical and mechanical component libraries in the CATIA V5, Virtual Product Manager (VPM) and Capital tools, based on existing and newly created components. In addition, the migration of mechanical library components to VPM is to be prepared and supported. In the component libraries, existing records are to be updated and adapted to current standards and norms.
The position holder works as a Library Administrator. The tasks are divided as follows:
- Maintenance of the component library in CATIA V5 (mechanics)
- Provision of library components in CATIA V5
- Creation and maintenance of simple 3D individual parts and assemblies in CATIA V5
- Active support in the introduction of VPM regarding the migration of the component library from CATIA V5
- Maintenance of the component library for Capital (electrics)
- Creation and maintenance of library circuit symbols in Capital (electrics)
Detailed Design:
- Creation and maintenance of electrical manufacturing documents, such as logical circuit and overview plans, as well as bill of materials
- Creation and maintenance of mechanical manufacturing documents, such as 3D individual parts and assemblies, drawing derivatives and bill of materials
- Performance of plausibility checks
Your profile
- Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, and/or a master's degree with corresponding experience
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in design
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- CATIA V5 knowledge is required
- CHS CAPITAL Logic knowledge is desirable
- Language skills in German (fluent) and English
- Knowledge of technical regulations, norms, and standards is an advantage
