Work preparation technician

Your tasks

• Determining product-specific manufacturing requirements, negotiating with engineering at key milestones in the development of a new product
• Validating design principles/records and approving them, verifying and implementing design definitions in manufacturing documents while adhering to all industrial constraints
• Ability to transfer design and development data into the creation and feasibility of technical instructions and manufacturing data
• Defining tooling concepts while considering all design definitions, leading rounds of continuous improvement with manufacturing and design (cost, lead time, etc.)
• Initiating and moderating meetings to ensure goal achievement (safety, quality, cost, delivery)

Your profile

• Completed studies in aerospace engineering, industrial engineering, or further training as a technician
• Over 2 years of professional experience in work preparation, development, and project management
• Good understanding of product integrity standards (e.g. tolerances, key characteristics, material properties)
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, MS Office, and SAP
• Fluent in German and English
