Your tasks

  • Assisting in the introduction and application of the new First Article Inspection (FAI) process. As part of the First Article Inspections, you will analyze the design requirements in advance, prepare the FAI reports, and make them available. You will also act as a liaison between various functions, such as work preparation, QLS, and production, and coordinate the timing for conducting the FAI.
  • With the aim of conducting and validating the First Article Inspection on time, you will support colleagues from QLS and production during the FAI execution and creation of the FAI report. You will lead and track the action plan, monitor identified deviations, and minor improvements. Reporting and escalation complete the tasks.
  • Reviewing and approving work plans, as well as identifying and creating inspection characteristics
actively involved in the QME team
  • Supporting the QME team in improving our standards, methods, and processes (including digital solutions and tools) to enhance efficiency and quality for our customers in our daily work

Your Profile

  • At least a Bachelor's degree in engineering, aerospace, or mechanical engineering
  • More than 3 years of professional experience in business preparation, project management, and technical documentation
  • At least 3 years of technical vocational training with additional further education as a technician
  • Knowledge of at least basic functions in MS Office and SAP
  • QAT, qualification
  • German language skills (at least negotiation level) and English (at least advanced level)
  • Experience as an inspector in the aviation industry
  • Knowledge in the field of quality production engineering, work preparation, or production
  • Practical experience with APQP (PFMEA, Control Plan, etc.) and other quality tools such as PPS, etc.
  • Modular training according to EASA Part-66 is desirable
  • A networker and you approach colleagues independently and know how to provide your support
and can motivate colleagues.
