Project engineer for surface protection

Your tasks

• Analysis, evaluation, design and implementation of new electroplating and painting technologies and processes
• Creation of concepts and planning of corresponding equipment, facilities and production processes, including material flow and provision, taking into account process and production regulations
• Further development and optimization of methods, work standards and techniques for surface protection of individual parts
• Continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, considering environmental and emission targets
• Coordination with production, plant planning, M&P, quality assurance and other site services
• Participation in CAPEX/OPEX processes with subsequent equipment/process qualification
• Regular reporting on status and achievement of objectives
• Preparation and participation in technical acceptance tests and process acceptance tests

Your Profile

• Completed engineering degree or equivalent qualification obtained elsewhere
• At least 5 years of professional experience desired
• Good knowledge of German and English
• Good user skills in industry-standard software (MS-Office, SAP)
• First practical experience with CATIA V5 or Siemens Plant Simulation (or comparable systems)
• Comprehensive knowledge in project management and agile working methods
• Experience with automation and digitization advantageous
• Pre-existing knowledge of surface coating (electroplating / painting) advantageous
• Knowledge of manufacturing regulations
• Team and communication skills as well as assertiveness
• Independence as well as innovative and intrinsically motivated thinking
• High sense of responsibility and proactiveness
