Commodity Manager for consumables

Start with us in a shared and successful future! We are a specialized staffing agency for the aerospace industry. A thrilling assignment awaits you as a Commodity Manager for consumables at our partner Airbus in Manching.

Your tasks

• Strategic procurement of chemicals, mechanical and electrical components for military aircraft
• Participation in procurement activities, management of bid submission and contract negotiation to achieve the best possible purchasing conditions in accordance with company requirements

• Monitoring of the contract (during the phases of innovation, development, series production, and support) with suppliers and company stakeholders to ensure that the business terms are adhered to throughout the contract lifecycle and that suppliers deliver the expected performance in all areas (logistics, support, quality, cost, etc.)
• Management of daily relationships with suppliers and within ongoing projects to optimize customer benefit while reducing overall operational costs and risks
• Participation in MFT/MDT teams during the bidding and contract award phase as well as throughout the entire contract duration

Your Profile

• At least a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, business administration, international management, or economics
• More than 3 years of professional experience in procurement, supplier management, contract management, operational and strategic procurement
• Ideally, knowledge in aviation and/or another technical field
• Basic knowledge of SAP and MS-Office
• German language skills (at least negotiation level) and English language skills (at least negotiation level)
• Communicative, motivated, and proactive personality
• Strong team player with quick comprehension
• Good technical understanding
