Engineer for aerodynamics data

Your tasks

• Analysis of CFD, aerodynamic wind tunnel and flight test data
• Modelling of aerodynamic data for Stability & Control, Loads and Lift & Drag datasets
• Verification and Validation of aerodynamic databases
• In-house tools improvement, design, verification and validation
• Wind tunnel test requirements and test programmes preparation
• Flight test requirements preparation for flight data gathering
• CFD simulations, in support to aerodynamic data generation and verification
• Dataset tolerances definition
• Definition of corrections based on flight test data
• Support to wind tunnel test campaigns

Your Profile

• Minimum Master's/Diploma degree in Engineering, Aerospace, or Aerodynamics
• More than 3 years of professional experience in Engineering, IT/Information Systems, Aerospace, and Aerodynamics
• Experience in Machine Learning, Aerodynamics, and dataset creation is a plus
• Proficient in Python, MS-Office, and Matlab, with at least knowledge of detailed functionalities
• Knowledge of C/C++ is required
• Good German and English language skills
• A strong team player
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
• Willingness and ability to take on responsibilities
