M&P engineer for surface technology

Your tasks

The jobholder works as a M&P Surface Technology Engineer and the main tasks are:

• Acquisition and execution of technology, development and qualification projects in the area of surface technologies, advanced functional coatings and corrosion protection
• End-to-end supervision of test campaigns (Planning, sampling, testing, reviewing, reporting)
• Support to obsolescence management and change requests
• Support to environmental compliance (REACH regulation) programs Consultancy to design, stress, quality and manufacturing for materials and process related enquiries
• Collaboration and steering with external institutes and material suppliers

Your Profile

• Completed degree in chemistry, aerospace or materials science
• Good MS Office skills
• Driving License Class B/ 3
• Fluent language skills in German and English
• Experience in surface and coating technologies as well as corrosion protection is required
• Experience in the aerospace industry and related processes such as qualification, certification and standardization is preferred
• Ability to work in an international team
• Independent work style
• Self-motivated and reliable person
• Driving license required for business trips (2 days every 2 months/Germany and Europe)
