Export Control Clerk

Your tasks

• Processing of major projects in the context of export compliance
• Conducting root cause analyses within the framework of the 8D methodology, tracking corrective actions within export control and in affected departments within the company
• Risk management and risk migration
• Conducting audits, independently managing, monitoring, and applying permits according to the Foreign Trade Act, War Weapons Control Act, and US (Re)export regulations, as well as documenting relevant examination and administration processes
• Recording relevant data, maintaining lists, requirements, quantity, value, and deadline tracking, reporting
• Identifying and evaluating key data for export control
• Revision and control of prohibitions, regulations, and permits for compliance and early warning within the company

Your Profile

• Completed commercial or technical vocational training
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the IT / Information Systems and project management field
• Several years of professional experience with export control processes
• Excellent knowledge of MS-Office and SAP
• Negotiation skills in German and English
• Knowledge of foreign trade law, war weapons control law, US export law (ITAR, EAR)
• Structured and analytical working style
• Affinity for IT systems
• Good communication skills and customer orientation
