Avionic Configuration Manager

Your tasks

• Software configuration, change, and release management in the avionic field
• Configuration of documents and baselines
• Preparation/execution of change control boards
• Close cooperation with product management, quality management, and internal development departments
• Creation and management of release documents according to valid standards
• Execution/support of quality gates, reviews, and audits according to development standards
• Data exchange between partner companies (generation of data carriers, accompanying documents, and shipment via the registry)
• Participation in national and international project meetings
• Maintenance and further development of local work processes in close collaboration with neighboring departments, considering existing company internal guidelines, development standards, and export control regulations (e.g. ITAR)

Your Profile

• Completed degree in computer science, engineering, or data and knowledge management
• Professional experience in change management or configuration management
• Excellent knowledge of MS-Access, MS-Excel, and MS-Project: knowledge of detailed functions
• Knowledge of configuration management software such as PCMS/PVCS, PDM, DMS, ClearCase is desirable
• Fluent in German and English
• Analytical and structured working style with an affinity for process compliance
• Openness to an international and interdisciplinary environment
