An exciting assignment as an Avionic Configuration Manager awaits you at our partner Airbus in Manching.
Your tasks
- Software configuration, change, and release management in the avionic field
- Configuration of documents and baselines
- Preparation/execution of change control boards
- Close cooperation with product management, quality management, and internal development departments
- Creation and management of release documents according to valid standards
- Execution/support of quality gates, reviews, and audits according to development standards
- Data exchange between partner companies (generation of data carriers, accompanying documents, and shipment via the registry)
- Participation in national and international project meetings
- Maintenance and further development of local work processes in close collaboration with neighboring departments, considering existing company internal guidelines, development standards, and export control regulations (e.g. ITAR)
Your Profile
- Completed degree in computer science, engineering, or data and knowledge management
- Professional experience in change management or configuration management
- Excellent knowledge of MS-Access, MS-Excel, and MS-Project: knowledge of detailed functions
- Knowledge of configuration management software such as PCMS/PVCS, PDM, DMS, ClearCase is desirable
- Fluent in German and English
- Analytical and structured working style with an affinity for process compliance
- Openness to an international and interdisciplinary environment
