An exciting assignment awaits you as a software architect in the Radar System & Data Management department at our partner, Hensoldt in Ulm.
Your tasks
The Radar Systems & Data Management department develops software for various radar product families and is responsible for platform software, command & control, and radar displays. State-of-the-art development methods from the areas of model-driven software development and continuous integration/continuous delivery are used.
The job holder is responsible for the following tasks and activities:
- Creating software requirements for complex radar systems
- Creating software architectures with a focus on reusability and variant management
- Developing new solution patterns and coordinating them with internal and external development partners
- Holistic support of the design activities of all related software components
- Creating sequential test and integration concepts
- Supporting system integration throughout the entire development process
- Active participation in the selection of new innovative development tools
Your profile
- Completed degree in mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, computer science or similar qualification
- Several years of professional experience in complex software systems
- Negotiation skills in German and English
- Good programming knowledge in C/C++
- Good VxWorks or Linux knowledge
- Python knowledge as well as familiarity with DOORS, Rhapsody, and VectorCAST are desirable
- Experience in continuous integration/continuous delivery
- Experience with agile development processes
- Experience in model-driven software development with EMF/Xtext is desirable
- Good communication skills in cross-functional collaboration
- Independent work style, coordination and integration skills, assertiveness
- High degree of responsibility, resilience, and organizational talent
